Grassland Society of Southern Africa (GSSA)

The Grassland Society of Southern Africa (GSSA) is involved and concerned with the science and practice of range and pasture management. This broad field involves primarily the use and conservation of natural resources.

The primary focus of the GSSA website is to lay out the content that is of interest to both the public users and members of the site. This includes its publications, resources and details about upcoming events, as well as publications and presentations that come out of these events.

From previous versions, the decision was made to cull a lot of old information and, through usage statistics, determine which resources and information was used and accessed, rather than it being a dumping ground for everything that might be of interest.

This lead to a site that is more concise and easily managed by the organisation, but, most importantly, easy to navigate and search, without the clutter that might arise from years or archiving.
