Getting (and keeping) the team together

Yes! It was waaay overdue. The Juizi team finally got together in-person again earlier this month (in Johannesburg this time) and it was fabulous. We did some in-person bonding and brainstorming, and also squeezed in some client visits.

Better communication
(even if you're just asking for directions)

If your team works remotely, in-person meetings allow for more effective interpretation of body language, facial expressions and tone of voice. And we all know good communication makes any organization run better.

There's also the opportunity for random conversations that could spark chance leaps in innovation.

Deeper, more meaningful relationships
(because we love laughing together)

Having fun together is key to successful long-term relationships in the workplace.

Pro tip: It's easier to work together if you actually like each other!

Shared experiences
(because days with treats are the best days)

Across many cultures, food is used to bring people together. According to Forbes, sharing a meal with team mates is a great way to make everyone feel like they belong

PS. We highly recommend Mike's Heritage House for a great lunch (and a fun treat after the meal)
