Plotting an ongoing journey - Making the Dullah Omar Institute website smart, simpler, and geared for success

With the Dullah Omar Institute's website, the challenge has always been to organise their extensive library of content to better serve their diverse projects and each project's unique (but somewhat overlapping) audience. Organised content allows users to find what they're looking for - not only through the use of the Faceted Search tool, but allowing easier navigation through each project.

By implementing a Plone addon (Lineage), we transformed each project section into a dedicated sub-site. This approach allowed for clearer navigation, improved content management, and a more intuitive user experience.

This isn’t just a one-off improvement - it is part of our ongoing commitment to helping the site's team of Editors keep site organised and easy to navigate. They've also started using Google Analytics more effectively to keep an eye on how each sub-site is performing. With these insights, we can make sure every project is reaching the right audience and hitting its goals.
